Return and Refund Policy

Return Eligibility:

You may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We are unable to accept returns after 30 days for any reason.

The return instructions below MUST be followed.

Items must be returned in their original product packaging, unused and in the same condition that you received them.

We reserve the right to assess and qualify each return prior to approving and issuing a refund.

Please note that returns will need to be sent to 261185 Wagon Wheel Way, Rocky View AB T4A 0E2, Canada, and you will need to pay all return shipping charges. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Instructions on how to return items:

To start a return, Email us at sales@dec-tec.com with your order # (you'll find it in your email confirmation, or on your packing slip), and the reason for requesting to return your item. We will respond within 3-5 business days.

If you receive approval to return your item, do so in the original packaging. You will need to pay for the return shipping charges.

NOTE: Do not ship the product back without following the above procedure.  Products returned without being pre-qualified by a Dec-Tec DIY representative are not eligible for refund.

Damages and issues 

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved .

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to original method of payment within 30 business days.

Late or Missing refunds:

If you haven’t received your refund within 30 business days, first check with your bank or payment provider. Often it does take some time before your refund is officially posted back to the original method of payment. If you have done all the above, and still have not received your refund, please email us at sales@dec-tec.com.
